Acer Palmatum 'Ōsakazuki' is a true chameleon, leaves turning from green to orange-scarlet in autumn.

The leaves are relatively large and the canopy compact and round making it a great looking small specimen tree, perfect in a pot garden. This remarkable plant even produces red flowers and berries.

Grow in a moist but well-drained soil. Water in summer if necessary. Leaf colour is best in partial shade, although full sun can be tolerated. Leaf scorch can be caused by lack of soil moisture, drying winds or late spring frost.

Decorative pot not included. The plant will be delivered in a plastic nursery pot.

For no fuss or mess you can put the plant in the growing pot it arrives in straight inside a decorative one. This also allows allows excess water to be drained after watering.

For a good fit the opening (not diameter) and height of the new decorative pot need to be several centimetres greater than the current growing pot.
