'Jacqueline Postill' is a more or less evergreen, and forms a medium-sized shrub with highly fragrant purplish-pink and white flowers in late winter, followed by black berries.
Grow in moderately fertile, slightly acid to slightly alkaline, humus-rich, well-drained but not dry soil in sun or partial shade. Mulch to keep roots cool.
Daphnes resent transplanting, which is why they are tricky for nurseryman to grow in pots and the extra effort and steps is reflected in the higher price of these prized plants.
