These desert loving plants look like something straight out of a spaghetti western. Technically euphorbia, not cacti, these drought tolerant plants store water meaning they are very happily neglected. 

The Euphorbia has its origins in the hot climates of Africa and South America. This varied genus have one thing in common: they contain a milky latex which can be harmful., so it is not advised for spaces shared with pets and children. 

Due to their easy care and that they are easily forgotten about when placed in a bright spot and watered infrequently, they make the perfect office feature.

For no fuss or mess you can put the plant in the growing pot it arrives in straight inside a decorative one. This also allows allows excess water to be drained after watering. 
For a good fit the opening (not diameter) and height of the new decorative pot need to be several centimetres greater than the current growing pot.
