Musa Tropicana is a form of Dwarf Cavendish that has more blotching and patterning to its leaves.

The Dwarf Cavendish is the perfect banana plant variety for growing as a houseplant in the UK. Too tender to spend the year outdoors, this banana named after William Cavendish, 6th Duke of Devonshire, was first brought to his greenhouses in the 1800s.

Reaching a maximum height of 3m, the dwarf Musa likes bright light and misting. Its big leaves are prone to tearing but are replaced very quickly. Sadly, you won't see any banana's on this plant in your home.
