A colourful and variegated species of Cissus native to the rainforests of Java Island in Indonesia. It is commonly known as Rex Begonia because of its pattern and leaves it resembles plants in the Begonia family, and is closely related.
Best space & place
The Cissus Discolor needs bright indirect or filtered light and warm temperatures to thrive, ideally set back from a south facing window, needing temperatures of around 21 degrees to thrive.
When to water & feed
Do not allow the soil to fully dry out between watering as this will cause the foliage to shrivel. When pot is starting to feel light and the soil is no longer moist, then water thoroughly making sure that water drains through.
