Salvia with flower heads not too dissimilar to agastache. As 'Purple Rain' is an upright perennial with lyre-shaped leaves and small, reddish-purple flowers borne in long, dense, interrupted spikes on reddish stems in summer, that carry on flowering right into autumn.
