'Caroline' is a vigorous climber, twining clockwise and blooming before the leaves open. The pale blue-purple flowers are borne in dense trusses up to 30cm long, from a relatively young age.
These trellis trained climbers are grafted rootstock so will flower the first or second year of planting.
Wisteria can be grown informally through large tree or more formally against a house wall or trained as a free-standing half standard in a container.
'Caroline' will grow in most soils that are moist but well-drained, and in sun or part shade.
Please note these plants are not in leaf at this time of year, and will form flower buds in early spring before leaves.
