Brief
A contemporary Spanish restaurant by Chef Nieves Barragán Mohacho (Sabor) was conceived to celebrate the diverse regional food cultures of Spain and its islands. A touch of planting was required to enliven the space but not distract from the food which for the chef is everything.
Solution
The warmer climate of southern Spain and its in vogue Balearic islands sees the plants featured thriving outside all year long. These evergreen plants bring all year vibrancy to the restaurant. Mixed terracotta planters were chosen to sit harmoniously with the materials and finish of the Mediterranean space.
