Top Tip
Hardy Tree Fern
An old favourite - one of the oldest plants in the world - that makes a modern garden feature, a tropical oasis, a balcony extravagance, or light well surprise.
These tree ferns are delivered as a potted trunk and have fronds beginning to unfurl. They can be planted outside but if temperatures are low or there is a late frost, this could turn the foliage brown.
They require protection in the colder months, in place with horticultural fleece and straw, or by overwintering under-glass.
