Need to know
Lavandula Angustifolia 'Hidcote' is hands down the most popular English lavender. Our large bountiful 5 Litre plants won't fail to delight.
'Hidcote' is a strong purple.
These semi-evergreen garden favourites love full sun and hate overwatering. Don’t water them, unless they are in pots.
Lavenders can be planted year-round, unless it’s freezing. The best time is October. It prefers poor, dry or moderately fertile soil, including chalky and alkaline soils. Lavender will not thrive in heavy clay soil or any soil that becomes waterlogged over winter.
Prune in spring to stimulate growth and prune in autumn to retain shape.
