The grandest of Peace Lilies, prized for its large leaves more than its flowers.

For no fuss or mess you can put the plant in the growing pot it arrives in straight inside a decorative one. This also allows allows excess water to be drained after watering.

For a good fit the opening (not diameter) and height of the new decorative pot need to be several centimetres greater than the current growing pot.

Remember to take into account tapering, as the internal height of a pot will be measured from the centre to the top but the sides will taper in on a rounded pot.

Best space & place

It can cope with lower light conditions but will flower more profusely in brighter spots.  

When to water & feed

Native to tropical climates, it benefits from humid conditions and light watering, its soil staying moist but not soggy. 

Need to know

If the leaves go floppy the plant is thirsty.
