Size
Acer trees are a statement plant, with delicate leaves and floating canopies they are a wonderful thing to behold and can bring peace and balance to a garden.

Height 100-120cm

For no fuss or mess you can put the plant in the growing pot it arrives in straight inside a decorative one. This also allows allows excess water to be drained after watering.

For a good fit the opening (not diameter) and height of the new decorative pot need to be several centimetres greater than the current growing pot.

Remember to take into account tapering, as the internal height of a pot will be measured from the centre to the top but the sides will taper in on a rounded pot.

Acer Palmatum 'Dissectum Viridis'

Green Japanese Maple

Acer Palmatum 'Dissectum Viridis' is a beautiful tree which changes colour with the seasons. The leaves are so dissected as to appear almost shredded. Although green through the spring and summer they show good autumn colour. Red flowers are a discrete attraction in spring. These develop into winged fruit, typical of the genus.

They are naturally shade lovers so can really help brighten a shaded patio or courtyard. Be careful when placing in full sun as it can scorch the leaves.
