Black Ancient pots are a strong statement pots with staying power.
This pot can be used for indoor or outdoor.
The pot treated with a thin waterproof coating on the inside, but this does not guarantee 100% watertightness. Therefore, the plant should be left in its plastic pot with a saucer or a liner should be used inside. Cracks can form if the plant is planted directly in the pot.
For outdoor use there is no drainage hole so this can cause the plant to rot if water pools at the bottom so careful accurate watering is recommended.

For no fuss or mess you can put the plant in the growing pot it arrives in straight inside a decorative one. This also allows allows excess water to be drained after watering.
For a good fit the opening (not diameter) and height of the new decorative pot need to be several centimetres greater than the current growing pot.
Remember to take into account tapering, as the internal height of a pot will be measured from the centre to the top but the sides will taper in on a rounded pot.
