The Flora pot has germinated from a love of plants and is our tribute to botanical craftsmanship. There’s no doubt that this pot and the flourishing plants within it will create a natural and heart-warming environment. We sculpted her with all our knowledge and love of plants – and the roots of her design can be traced back to the 1800s. FLORA’s simple design accentuates her contents, and is guaranteed to appeal to the keen botanist.
The name FLORA refers to the goddess of the same name, who in Roman mythology was the goddess of all plants, flowers, and fertility. Today, the name is often used to denote plant life in general or in connection with the famous comprehensive 18th-century Danish encyclopedia of botany – the Flora Danica.

For no fuss or mess you can put the plant in the growing pot it arrives in straight inside a decorative one. This also allows allows excess water to be drained after watering.
For a good fit the opening (not diameter) and height of the new decorative pot need to be several centimetres greater than the current growing pot.
Remember to take into account tapering, as the internal height of a pot will be measured from the centre to the top but the sides will taper in on a rounded pot.
