The extremely hard to come by variegated monstera, which can only be grown by a few expert growers through patience and perseverance. The variegation is actually a misfire in the plants DNA, so this uncommon occurrence is tricky to reproduce in the glasshouse.

Best space & place
The variegation (less green chlorophyll) means the leaves take in less light, so the plant needs to be placed in a brighter spot to take in the amount it needs. Direct sun however will be too harsh for this plant. 

Watering & feeding
Water when the soil has slightly dried out. Do not leave sitting in water. 

Need to know
The leaves will brown and crease naturally where the holes are being formed (the swiss cheese effect). It is more visible on these plants that the green version, but not something to be concerned with.

For no fuss or mess you can put the plant in the growing pot it arrives in straight inside a decorative one. This also allows allows excess water to be drained after watering.

For a good fit the opening (not diameter) and height of the new decorative pot need to be several centimetres greater than the current growing pot.

Remember to take into account tapering, as the internal height of a pot will be measured from the centre to the top but the sides will taper in on a rounded pot.
