The banana plant is a horticultural hero - not just for its delicious yellow fruit in other varieties - but its visual appeal in the tropical or any flower border. They easily grow into their space and then get bigger.

This Japanese variety is a good grower in the UK climate, but sadly its green-yellowish fruit aren't delicious. Requires winter protection.

While we take every care to protect the plant in transit, due to the very delicate nature of the leaves, some may be damaged on arrival but will be replaced very quickly.

For no fuss or mess you can put the plant in the growing pot it arrives in straight inside a decorative one. This also allows allows excess water to be drained after watering.

For a good fit the opening (not diameter) and height of the new decorative pot need to be several centimetres greater than the current growing pot.
