The Philodendron are native to the tropical rainforests of South America and the Caribbean region, and most are in fact climbers that use their long tendrils to climb up other trees or ground.
Philodendron Xanadu is grown for its dramatic deeply dissected leaves that form at the ends of the stems. It will tolerate shade, so is a good choice for a shady corner.

Best space & place
Xanadu is happiest situated in indirect bright light, but can also tolerate some shade.

When to water & feed
Keep the compost moist from spring to autumn and water more sparingly in winter.

Need to know
Keep the leaves free of dust and looking shiny by wiping with a damp cloth, placing under a tepid shower or putting outside in the rain during summer.
