Plant Height (Including Pot)
A rare and unique specimen, beloved in Japan for the leaves paper-like quality. That is why we named it the paper-leaf tree.

For no fuss or mess you can put the plant in the growing pot it arrives in straight inside a decorative one. This also allows allows excess water to be drained after watering.

For a good fit the opening (not diameter) and height of the new decorative pot need to be several centimetres greater than the current growing pot.

Remember to take into account tapering, as the internal height of a pot will be measured from the centre to the top but the sides will taper in on a rounded pot.

Best space & place

This ficus, like most others is happiest situated in indirect bright light. It is happy in most rooms, with a minimum temperature of 12°C. It does not like draughts and this can cause the leaves to discolour.

When to water & feed
Allow the top two inches of soil to dry out between waterings. Apply a general purpose houseplant feed like in the summer months. Reduce watering in winter.

Need to know
The leaves benefit from a damp wipe from time to time to remove dust, facilitate more light transmission, and keep looking glossy.
