Height: 120-130cm
Pot: ø24cm
Decorative Pot Opening Required: 2cm+

For no fuss or mess you can place the plant in its growing pot (the pot it arrives in) inside a decorative one. This allows allows excess water to be drained after watering.

For a good fit the opening (not diameter) and height of the new decorative pot need to be several centimetres greater than the current growing pot. Here is how we measure and list pot sizes:

Remember to take into account tapering, as the internal height of a pot will be measured from the centre to the top but the sides will taper in a rounded pot.

We recommend using a liner to protect your decorative pot and prevent leaking (whether placing the nursery pot inside or repotting directly into the decorative pot).

Our horticulturalists can pot your plants when the plant and pot are purchased together.

Dracaena Marginata

Indoor Bamboo

Dracaena Anita is an elegant, tropical houseplant admired for its lush, glossy foliage and graceful, tree-like form. A cultivar of Dracaena fragrans (commonly known as the Corn Plant), it features narrow, arching green leaves that grow densely around its stems, creating a full and bushy appearance.

Dracaena Anita is low-maintenance and air-purifying, helping remove toxins such as formaldehyde and benzene from indoor air. With proper care, it can grow quite tall over time, adding a touch of tropical greenery and elegance to any interior.

Dracaena Marginata, Branched Corn Tree - Plant Drop

Need to know

It prefers a bright or lightly shaded spot but will also tolerate lower light levels.

Wipe the leaves occasionally to keep them dust free and shiny, pulling any that have died off.

The plant removes some benzene, formaldehyde, trichloroethylene and xylene from the air – 4 of the 5 pollutants in homes. These toxins are given off by many common household items like plastics, dyes, furniture wax, glues, paints, and air fresheners.

Dracaena surculosa is a distinctive and eye-catching tropical houseplant, loved for its decorative, speckled foliage and compact, shrubby growth habit. Commonly known as Gold Dust Dracaena or Spotted Dracaena, it features oval, deep-green leaves generously flecked with creamy yellow or gold spots, growing on slender, cane-like stems.

Unlike many dracaenas, Dracaena surculosa has a softer, more bushy appearance, making it ideal for adding texture and visual interest to indoor spaces. It is also low-maintenance and air-purifying, helping to improve indoor air quality while bringing a subtle tropical feel to your home.

Best space & place

It prefers a bright spot with indirect light, which helps maintain its vibrant leaf spotting, but it will also tolerate light shade. Avoid strong, direct sunlight.

When to water & feed

It likes evenly moist growing media but dislikes sitting in water. Allow the top layer of compost to dry slightly between waterings. Feed monthly during spring and summer with a balanced houseplant fertiliser.

Need to know

Mist occasionally or place in a more humid room to keep the foliage looking its best. Remove any yellowing or damaged leaves to encourage healthy new growth.
