Known as the Elephant Ear for their great leaves reminiscent of the great beast. These rainforest plants like humid conditions but also a good amount of indirect light.
Best space & place
The large green leaves need a fair amount of dappled light to keep them green and growing strong. They love humidity so a big bathroom can be a haven.
When to water & feed
Allow the top two inches of soil to dry out slightly between waterings, but definitely keep more on the moist than dry side.
Need to know
The big leaves are prone to tearing as they are just so large. Best snip out any that have seen better days and await new great ones.
