Planting a room that is already loud
Lanterna is bright, bold and deliberately busy: strong colour, hard surfaces, a room built to be full. That is a difficult place to put plants. Anything delicate simply disappears into it, and anything ornamental ends up competing with a scheme that is already saying plenty.
So the planting works structurally rather than decoratively. Green mass with enough weight to hold its own against the colour, placed to break up the volume of the room and soften the hard edges, rather than positioned to be admired in its own right.
