Country House Stone Planter — One-Off

The exact piece pictured is the one that arrives.

A heavy cast stone planter, near-square, with a draped swag worked into each face and moss grown into the relief. Weathered, lichened, and built like masonry.

42cm across the mouth and 37cm high, with 34cm of depth inside; 45cm across the outside at the rim.

From a large country house collection, latterly the estate of the conductor Sir Roger Norrington.

Far too heavy to move once planted. Site it before you fill it.

Design Details

Cast stone is frost-hardy and lives outdoors year round.

Plant potted within, or sit the nursery pot inside on a liner. Clean with water and a soft brush only; never pressure-wash — the lichen and weathering are what make it.
