Returns

On arrival — if anything isn't right, contact us within 48 hours with photographs and we'll put it right, covered by our 30-day plant guarantee.
Change of mind — let us know within 14 days. Plants, pots and accessories must be in their original, resaleable condition. Returns are subject to a collection charge, or can be sent back by post at your own cost; the outgoing delivery charge isn't refunded.

The first shape in our wabi sabi range. A softly rounded cylinder with a hand-worked, uneven surface that looks closer to weathered stone than to a glazed pot. It feels steady and grounded, and stays quiet enough to let a sculptural plant lead.

Made from cement and bamboo fibre: frost and UV resistant, for indoors or out. In Stone and Charcoal, in three sizes for 30cm to 50cm nursery pots.

Design Details

Indoors, keep the plant in its nursery pot inside a liner. The planter holds water, but because each one is made by hand it cannot be guaranteed fully watertight, so a liner protects floors.

Outdoors it is frost and UV resistant and can stay out all year. Raise it on pot feet over winter so it never sits in standing water.

Dust or rinse with plain water. The surface is meant to be irregular: small variations in tone and texture are part of each piece, so no two are quite the same.

Each one is cast by hand from cement reinforced with bamboo fibre. Bamboo is one of the fastest-growing plants there is, and woven through the cement it makes a tougher, more considered alternative to plain concrete. The result is frost and UV resistant and happy indoors or out: by the sofa, at the front door or on a terrace.

In Stone, a warm earthy beige, and Charcoal. Three sizes, for 30cm to 50cm nursery pots, so the same piece can run through a whole home and out into the garden.
