The plants we offer with this smart grow system come pre-potted and require no assembly. The nursery pot can just be sat inside a decorative pot.
The sealed nursery pot has a reservoir and water gauge to indicate the water level at the bottom and shows what water is accessible to the plant.
The plants are planted in vulkaponic - an absorbant mineral that absorbs and releases moisture as and when the roots require it, avoiding overwatering and in combination with the water gauge make care easier.
There is a drainage plug at the bottom in case too much water has built up in the reservoir.
These plants are perfectly happy in the pots they come in for many years but can be repotted if needed in the future but using the same system. They should not be un-potted and potted with soil as this will undo the benefits of the system.
The volcanic material means all plants using this system are 100% peat-free.
