The leaves benefit from a damp wipe from time to time to remove dust, facilitate more light transmission, and keep looking glossy. They can lose leaves when settling in but they are soon replaced.
Rubber Plants have been shown to help remove formaldehyde from the air, which can be given off by building materials, synthetic fabrics, and furniture. Just moved into a new-build house? Then this plant is for you!
